Plastics and the Environment conference Athens
On Friday 4th of November 2011, Andrew Barclay, Technical Director of Wells Plastics Ltd in his capacity as Chairman of the Bio-based And Degradable Plastics Group (British Plastics Federation) will be presenting at the ‘Plastics and the Environment’ conference held by the Association of Hellenic Plastic Industries (AHPI) in Athens, Greece. This important conference will be attended by raw material suppliers, processers and stakeholders alike. The subject of Mr Barclays paper will be ‘Addressing the Issue of Plastics Littering’ followed by a panel discussion between all the speakers and Chaired by Mr N Katsaros, on the subject of Plastics and the Environment. Mr Barclay will be amongst a number of distinguished speakers who were invited to present as recognised experts in their individual fields, commenting on the paper Mr Barclay said ‘it is a great honour to be invited to such a prestigious event and I look forward to being able to show the clear benefits of Oxo-biodegradable technology as one possible solution to the global littering issues’.
