Reverte^TM- Certified by Green Label Scheme Singapore

Bio-Plastic (S) Pte Ltd has been distributing Reverte^TM oxo-biodegradable additives and finished plastic products incorporating Reverte^TM both in Singapore and Malaysia since 2008. Today there are many retailers and other customers using Reverte^TM in their plastic bags and products throughout Singapore, and the brand has become well known as a way to help avoid the environmental problems associated with these products ending up as litter in the environment after use. Environmental or 'Green' marketing claims have greatly increased during recent years and many consumers rely on labels to decide whether a product is actually environmentally friendly. In June 2013, the Singapore Environment Council (SEC) established human health and environmental criteria for the certification of oxo- biodegradable polypropylene and polyethylene products that degrade and biodegrade in the open environment. Bio-Plastic and Wells are now pleased to announce that Reverte^TM oxo-biodegradable bags are recognized and can be certified with the Green Label seal, endorsed by the Singapore Green Labelling Scheme (SGLS) Based upon this endorsement, consumers purchasing Reverte^TM green label plastics packaging can be confident that they have purchased products based upon their least undesirable effects on the environment, and in particular that the plastic will ultimately biodegrade into the environment.
